The spotlight is back on Albany.

For the second time this season, the Firebirds take center stage on national television as they travel to Washington for a Week 4 matchup. Just like Albany, the Washington Wolfpack are a founding team of AF1, making this an early season matchup between two original members of the league.

Albany enters with strong momentum and production across the roster, while Washington looks to build off its opening stretch and secure its first win of the season at 0 and 3.

The last time these two teams met came in Albany during the Firebirds regular season finale, where Albany came away with a 98 to 12 victory. This time, the Wolfpack return home with an opportunity to respond in front of their crowd.

It starts at quarterback, where Kulka leads the league with 19 touchdown passes, setting the pace for one of the most productive offenses in AF1. Malik Henry follows with 11.

The Firebirds receiving group has played a major role in that success. Albany holds three of the top five spots in touchdowns scored, with Tyrese Chambers leading the team with 6, while Darien Townsend and Duane Brown each have 5. The group continues to produce consistently and create opportunities in key moments.

Defensively, Albany has been just as steady.

Linebacker Drew Singleton leads the league with 25 total tackles and has added 2 interceptions, impacting the game in multiple ways. In the secondary, defensive back Tre Wortham ranks second in the league with 18 tackles, providing another reliable presence.

Along the defensive line, Prince Umanmielen and Qaadir Shepard have each recorded 3 sacks, helping generate pressure and disrupt opposing offenses.

With another opportunity in the national spotlight, the Firebirds will look to continue their strong play, while the Wolfpack aim to make a statement on their home field.

Kickoff is set for 6:00 PM ET on VICE TV.
