2027 Albany Firebirds Internship Program

The Albany Firebirds offer hands-on internship opportunities for college students looking to build a career in professional sports. From media and communications to gameday operations and ticket sales, interns gain real-world experience working alongside the team’s front office staff at MVP Arena. These positions provide valuable exposure to the day-to-day operations of a professional football organization while developing skills in teamwork, leadership, communication, and fan engagement.

Past Firebirds interns have gone on to work or interview with major leagues and sports organizations, including the NFL, NHL, NBA G League, PLL, US Open, NLL, AHL, TBL, Frontier League, MiLB, MLB, Cosmic Sports, Savannah Bananas, and more.
