Firebirds Place DL Sha’huan Williams on Injured Reserve

The Albany Firebirds announced a roster update, placing defensive lineman Sha’huan Williams on injured reserve.

Williams, listed at 6-foot-3 and 260 pounds, has contributed on the defensive front for Albany this season. The former Notre Dame College standout and arena football veteran has provided size and strength for Albany, helping anchor the Firebirds’ defensive line.

The move to injured reserve will sideline Williams for our week 3 matchup against Oregon as he works through recovery.

Maintaining depth on the defensive line will be a focus for the Firebirds as they continue through the season, with additional players expected to step into larger roles during Williams’ absence.
