Albany Firebirds Bring Back Offensive Lineman Brandon Nicholson for 2026 Season

The Albany Firebirds are proud to announce that offensive lineman Brandon Nicholson has re-signed for the 2026 season. Nicholson, who first joined the Firebirds during 2025 Training Camp, was an important part of the offensive front that powered Albany to a championship last season.

The AF1 Re-Signing Period gives teams the opportunity to keep their rostered players until 11:59 PM on September 15th. Nicholson’s return adds more stability in the trenches as the Firebirds begin shaping their roster for another title run. Players not re-signed by the deadline will enter free agency.

Nicholson’s strength and consistency on the offensive line were key in the team’s success, and Firebirds fans can look forward to seeing him back in uniform as Albany looks to defend its crown in 2026.
