Albany Firebirds Wish UAlbany Football Good Luck Ahead of Home Opener

The Albany Firebirds are proud to wish UAlbany Football good luck as the Great Danes kick off a new season with their home opener tomorrow night.

UAlbany will take on the New Hampshire Wildcats, with kickoff scheduled for 7:00 p.m. at Tom & Mary Casey Stadium.

Fans are encouraged to arrive early and catch all of the gameday action, with teams taking the field for warmups approximately 60 minutes before kickoff. The pregame will also feature performances from the Marching Great Danes, UAlbany Cheer, and UAlbany Dance teams, followed by the Great Danes taking the field and the National Anthem immediately before kickoff.

The home opener will also feature a halftime fireworks display and serve as the official “Black Out” game.

The Albany Firebirds wish the Great Danes the best of luck as they begin another season of football in the Capital Region!
