Albany Firebirds Announce Continued Partnership with TNA Wrestling for Upcoming iMPACT! Tapings

Albany, NY — Friday, June 26th — The Albany Firebirds are proud to announce the continuation of their partnership with TNA Wrestling as TNA iMPACT! returns to the Broadview Center at UAlbany on Wednesday, July 1, and Thursday, July 2.

Fans attending either night of TNA iMPACT! will have the opportunity to meet Spike, select Albany Firebirds players, and win exclusive Firebirds prizes during a pre-show meet and greet from 6:00–7:00 p.m. inside the Broadview Center.

The partnership continues a strong relationship between two organizations that have delivered exciting entertainment to the Capital Region.

"We're thrilled to once again partner with TNA Wrestling and be part of two incredible nights of professional wrestling," said Firebirds Director of Media Ben Nelson. "This is a great opportunity for fans to interact with our team, meet Spike, and celebrate two organizations that are committed to providing unforgettable experiences."

The Firebirds and TNA Wrestling have collaborated on multiple occasions over the past several years. During TNA's 2024 visit to Albany, TNA stars Moose and AJ Francis served as honorary captains and participated in the ceremonial coin toss before the Firebirds' matchup against the Nashville Kats, while the Firebird Flames also participated in the TNA iMPACT! tapings.

The partnership dates back even further to 2022, when current Firebirds Defensive Coordinator Brandon Sesay was recognized during TNA's Albany show and participated in a pre-show fan meet and greet while playing professional football in Albany.

The Albany Firebirds are proud to continue building on this successful partnership and look forward to welcoming wrestling fans from across the region.

Fans attending TNA iMPACT! on July 1 or July 2 are encouraged to arrive early to take part in the Firebirds Meet and Greet from 6:00–7:00 p.m., featuring Spike, select Firebirds players, photo opportunities with the 2025 Arena Crown Trophy, and chances to win Firebirds prizes.
